TEAMS
TOP 5 in BUCS for Table Tennis
Newcastle University Table Tennis Club primarily competes in BUCS (British University and College Sport) against other universities from around the UK. We have six teams in total with our men's and women's 1st teams in their respective national premier divisions. Any prospective students applying to Newcastle University can be safe in the knowledge that they can play at the highest level possible in university table tennis.
Most of our teams compete in BUCS on Wednesday afternoons but some compete over selected weekends throughout the academic year. There are four players in a men's team and two in a women's. Home matches are played at our sport centre on campus and away matches can be anywhere around the north of England.

Our men's 1st team had a top four finish and our women's 1st team won their Tier 1 league and were promoted to the National Premier Division. Our men's 2nd team won their league and were promoted as did our women's 2nd team who also ended up as runners up in the Conference Cup final.
